Samson Huang
Samson Huang will be featured in our exhibition with his protest photos of the anti-ELAB movement! The vision of Samson as a photojournalist shares a different facet of the movement. Though the frontline is constantly riddled with clashes and strife, his attention is riveted much more by the peers than rivals. The interactions between protesters are captured and treasured in his lenses. Lovers, comrades, fellows, and family, their ironclad relationship and comradery on the protest fields are fully visualised in his photographs.
However nuanced and subtle, the unwavering support between protesters is powerful and empowering. Samson’s photographs illustrate the mutual trust and faith as an indispensable side of protests, which builds considerable momentum and spirited morale to the movement.
